Like with minimal techno, it’s quite incredible the level of ‘cleanliness’ that Pedro has achieved on the B1 track here - meaning the sounds really do punch through in the mix hard. But this is not minimal - far from it. Utter techno carnage, and as such this track stands out a mile in a club. The A1 track is the best though and with an unusual snare drum and ride cymbal reminiscent of early Headroom/Skoog tracks, the look of exhaustion this one leaves on the dancefloor when the bassline comes in is obvious. A four track EP however and the other two tracks are pretty decent also, keeping the usual Yin Yangers happy. Pedro really is at the top of his game here. Amazing stuff. Mark EG
