I hope John Barnes gets the job meself...

As for O'Neil, it would be very interesting to see how he does at Liverpool with more than a couple of good players at his disposal. For all the acclaim and praise he recieves, most of it deserved ofcourse, he hasn't actualy proved himself at the highest level. OK, Celtic are a huge and very strong club. But he has made the best of an average squad. At Leicester he did the same, made the best of what he had. When it comes to actualy having a good squad and money to spend on top players, he'll be in new territory...

Benitez would be off his head to move from Valencia to Liverpool...

What's a 'shit good' season anyway?

hope its benitez myself. Hes bought well and plays an a good attacking style and has managed to put the big spenders to shame in spain. Apparently he speaks english very well too. If he can bring ayala and barraja with him thall be a god send. Hope its not o'neill he plays the same style that has bored liverpool fans the last 3 years. Much as I rate o'neill I dont think hed do to well at liverpool. Curbishley is an excellent manger yet has not had much experiance at a big club and europe.

If benitez stays at valencia, o'leary is my 2nd choice.

I'm sorry but John Barnes is a poor manager. He couldn't do nowt with Celtic, so how you can say he would be good with liverpool?

Liverpool need a big experienced manager, and not a coach like Houllier or a ex-liverpool player who isn't proven at manager level.

I think John Aldridge could do a job for them...

Nah... they need to go big if they intend to get big. Alan Curbishley is the lowest down manaager they could even consider, and even he did well to finish where he did in the Premiership. Any manager lower would be bad appointment and a completely risky one.
