I actually have trouble deciding on my favourite DJs, so I'll skip that... MCs
is totally unknown where I live, so not able to list those either.
I'll just hop straight onto my 3 favourite producers and point out why I
love them.
Producers:
#1. Andreas Krämer & Thomas Pogadl aka. Schwarze Puppen, Junk
Project, Solid Sleep, Russenmafia, Blade Attack, S.O.D etc etc.
- No trance artists around are anywhere close to as productive as these
guys. I bet I could fill a 5-hour set exclusively with class productions from
these masterminds.. They practically invented their own hardtrance genre.
"Minimal hardtrance" or whatever. So crisp, so direct, so juicy. Perfection.
Its unbelievable how A.K has delivered so much, yet still all quality.
What is also impressive is that A.K has managed to maintain alot of the
97-99 atmosphere in his tracks, while still sounding perfectly up to date.
#2. Scot Project/Arome
King of massive breakdowns, flowing basslines, divine percussion and a
perfect blend of hard and uplifting elements. Scot's stuff never fails the
dancefloor. Productions are always top of the line and he has without a
doubt created what is probably the biggest and most recognizable
hardtrance trademark sound. Without Scot I'm seriously worried what
would've happened to hardtrance. Scot's tracks speak for the whole
hardtrance community.
#3. Überdruck/DJ The Crow/Drugface
Of recent date, these guys are the biggest hardtrance innovators IMO.
They've basically told the whole world to **** off and get wasted and
shown the world that trance can be dirtier than everyone and everything.
When it became popular to hate trance, drumrolls, juicy bass-stabs and
DJs fled the genre like rats escaping a sinking ship, Überdruck hunted
them all down, strapped them to the floor and raped them with drumrolls,
takeoffs, bass-stabs and the filthiest of trance elements repeditively for
hours, until they all realized they were not worthy of anything and should
all go die.
Actually Überdruck might have saved the world.
Creating a whole new arsenal of hardtrance combatmoves and sounds in
2002+ is impressive. The effectiveness of their sound is so obvious and
the thrust and filth just amazing. The raw and 303 infested sound, the
pounding kicks, ripping basslines accompanied by driving and massive
melodic treats is a definite winner. I <3 TEH DRÜCK!!!

Well...
Top 3 Dj's:
- Andreas Kramer (Hard ass techno)
- ASYS (Knows how to get a party rockin')
-Mark EG (Sets I have heard are awesome, and I have heard he is quite the showman!)
Top 3 producers:
- Frank Ellrich (aka ASYS aka Riddler & Headcrusher aka Electric aka Future Tribes aka Naiche & Steve K) This man can do no wrong in the production realm! World's best producer!
- Dj Amok (Banging, hard ass, scary technoise! I love it!)
- Frank D Noise (King of the 303 in my book! Brain recordings is the best label existant!)
and we don't have mc's at all in Melbourne, Australia...
evanrees

Yeah I'd have to agree with you there 'bout ASYS. Although im not liking Hard Trance too much these days, he is the one producer thats keeping me interested. Didn't he also release a couple of tracks under the Subnerve alias.
By the way,
Nice set at Plastic Hellraiser.
