the change is happening already.. dare i metion "rave train" on dance pollution.... and although i respect the Trance Generators emensely (sp?) my mind did wonder about the use of "wildstyle" and "back again" samples - them just remind me of old top 40 chart tracks...

Have to say i do agree with the TG comment,.

That was brought up in an earlier topic, the reason am adding to this is that i actually thought that Rave Train is a very good production on behalf of Droid, i can't really see a production like this being deemed as cheesy in my eyes. It is a well thought out track with a fantastic sample and still remains nice and dark.

How do we compare and what do we compare to?

Who laid the foundations for hardstyle, as paul elstak did for the hardcore scene.

What do we define cheese, and what do we define cheddar.

I still find that a good production meets a sample add a sprinkle of bass and a pinch of a riff, gives a good release, makes hardstyle hence Droid - Rave train

OK, having heard Rave Train played out on the weekend, i take it back  just i skipped through it in the shop, thinking it was like the last few dance pollution (which imo aint that great either)
am now kicking oneself as it destroyed the dance floor!

I've got this track on vinyl and although the main synth/lead is quite minimal ........its a very catchy sample.....but also dark aswell.
A reasonable one for the Box, defintley. Solid Hardsylte tune
