Yeah mate, i agree with you. Very Dark and Techno influenced. Last month i picked up his "Nu Identity EP" Release, which has 4 solid techno-trance monsters in it!
He seems to use very Phat Kick Drums accompanied with Filtered screeching Techno synths. Really good production.
His tunes are a very good example of quality Techno Trance not Hardstyle.

Its different from your typical 'Brain Ovulation' stuff and a lot of the Hardstyle out at the moment...... The stuff which concentrates on Kicks, Basslines and Drums. The stuff where on the last 2 beats of the bar uses the Gabba Kick drum.
Lorenzo De Preti, who unlike other artists who use the Brain Ovualtion style of typical Hardstlye @ the moment, concentrates on using techno elements, screeching filtered synths, dark and eerie percussion and twisted harsh 303's. This is why to me, it is Pure Techno Trance and nothing else.

Anyway, respect to this guy, as he is very talented, and also has his own unique style. Expect a lot.............

Gabba Kick drum on the last too beats of the bar Hardstyle a kik in the nutz.

>but anyways this is the style as dj CraigRyan put it Very Dark and Techno influenced that's gonna get big

plz dont say this - every time i find something different to play so that i stand out it becomes 'the next big thing' and all the bandwagon jumpers get on it and cos i aint booked as often as them im seen as some kinda second rate wannabe whos also hopped on board... I want to play music i like and other ppl like of course but its just getting annoying that i play something for months then moments before some big gig that i can showcase it all at im beaten to it by someone who just went n bought it all last week after being told its big

rant over. i got carried away there.

totally see where you're coming from stride.. spot on mate :=] at least someone has the balls to point this out .... there's too many bandwagon jumpers in life...

i agree, but think youve taken that point a bit over the top though ian, way i see it now is a lot more people/promoters are looking at up and comers than ever before, and i think theres more up and comers involved at nights. This is always going to be the case for up and comers as most of us have the same 'access' level to tunes, unlike the likes of the more established djs who get first looks on new tunes.

Yeah its true about bandwagon jumpers in this scene but the ones who create their own style will always stand out over the rest so it doesnt really matter does it?

In away I do agree but I ment no harm in posting it on here I mean this is what this forum is about isent it? telling this good community on our music choices and descoverys.
and I bet most people on this board new about his style ages ago but sorry for runing your best kept secret :)
but this for me is the way forward in the underground solid techno trance

i know it is a little like that, keeping things to urself and getting annoyed when ppl like it :)

but its happened to me so much now im getting fed up... i was banging on about the new style gabber stuff then about a month before i was gonna play @ North for the dogs bollox Producer released Scum10 and everyone got into it over nite  then i sacked in gabber n did hardstyle which i now hear 'the judge' is playing so i try n go harder and find records that arent typically hardstlye (all this hennes n cold type kicks) and that is apparently the new sound now, again a month before i have my next booking.

argh.. its not as bad as im making out really.. but it gets to me. you know what im saying tho?

I can see where your coming from Stride, but Acidphase meant it in a good way.......thinking of the scene..............looking towards the future of the Hard Trance scene......... in which he obviously feels this sound is going to play a big part in.

Anybody really into their stuff is going to come across this sound, and to anyone who knows their stuff, you can tell it has that difference to your typical stuff out there. You will get people who will just think it is Hardstyle - the same as the rest (they won't notice)........ but when you really look into it you can see that boderline difference.........that freshness....that variation from the predictable stuff
