Well this had annoyed me for years and I really need to get to the bottom of it. Let's say you get a track up and press play in the bottom left (Don't really know what the difference if between the top and bottom transport controls but I know for some reason I like to use the bottom one).
F6 Scroll playback is on and so is scroll smoothly, so the track plays from left to right. As I zoom in the time line follows the track perfectly, scrolling all the time. Nice.
Now I zoom further, grab the edit tool and click on one of the waveforms. The time line jumps to that position and keeps playing BUT stops scrolling! Scroll is still on so why has it stopped scrolling?
The only way I can fix this is by press stop then start on the bottom left (or on the keyboard (space or enter)).
