I'm thinking of buying one of these mixers... what do you reckon? Anyone used one or heard any complaints about them?

I love the DJM600. But I may have the chance to get something better, so this mixer will be it.

Hope one of you can help!

buy it,
although this isnt the voice of experience i have had a little play with the faders and they are scratch quality faders. plus combining the new effectx engine that the djm-600 just dont have. it has a digital lcd display on it ffs.
lol
very solid build too from pioneer.
i want one myself and i reckon this is the only mixer on the market that covers every possible use of a mixer.
scratch dj, mobile, effects, trance, techno, breakbeat,
does everything.
think theres only this and the pmc-37 that are worth considering at the moment for home use dj's.
 buy it if ya can hakka, im jealous already.

Cool man. I agree in that it looks a well round mixer. It's a solid design, crisp sound quality and has effects.

im almost sure there is no middle on them mixers, plus the mixer is more for scratch djs than anything else.

stick with the 600 or the A&H if i were you, more of an all round mixer and club standard.

i have to agree here, it's mainly for the scratch dj's, plus it's only 2 channel. You still cant beat the 600

Ok fair comments! what about the Pioneer DJM707 then?

And in comparison to the A&H Xone 62, is it worth loosing the flange effects (which I think are wicked!) for the Xone 62?

Let me know what you lot think! it's your comments that will push me in either direction!

the 707 is again a scratch mixer, i would still go with the 600, and spend the extra money on something else

The denon mixer looks pretty good

But not as good as this badboy

had a good mess around with the 909 on the weekend and although it is more for the scratch mixers it really is a lovely mixer to use.

not totally keen on the effects panel as its all quite fiddly and done on a touch screen at the top of the mixer.600 handles all this better. And also its only a 2 channel mixer too so forget about that 3rd deck.

smooth as you like mixer though, the faders on it are sweet and everything else seems to do its job perfectly.

id still go with the 600 tho.

good mixer...too expensive for what it is, too many bugs/faults. i had one, then another, then another then thaught **** it and got some technics. mate i haven't looked back

i would go for the pioneer 600 personally (unless the xone 92 came down in price LOTS!!!!)

Overall the quality of pioneer has gone down now that they get china to build their products. they used to get their shite built in japan. Check the back panel to c where it's made. Something to think about anyhow.

i used to own one but sold it....

it's an ok mixer... however i scratch alot and think that the upfaders should be the same as the cross fader..... as i'm used to hammering both ups and cross, the upfaders are just like standard pioneer faders... - i.e. crap!

thats the reason i sold it..... however someone who mixes more would definitely love this mixer as the upfaders would suit them fine...

peace.
