My mate really likes Hard Trance. Not my thing but I want to buy him or make him an amazing CD with very recent tracks on it. Technically interesting and superb choice of tracks would be nice.

Any recommendations?

that's kinda the direction

- mix CDs on the market I could buy
- Downloadable mixes in high quality that I can burn to CD

I'm not gonna buy the vinyl just to mix myself as a one off present.

Like if somebody said the same about acid techno - I'd say "here mate try the Germ at http://www.blahblah..." etc.
