it's made by the same guy who recently had a cheesy number one 'call on me' in the uk - I'm not sure if my underground credentials feel used now

Yep, I agree. It's made purely for the dancefloor and it does it's job big time. I like it. Played it out a few weekends ago and got a great reaction.

fergie any1?

:dontevengothere:

Yes, I specifically make sure that any record I buy has NEVER been played by anyone with any non black clothes, that has ever had a mention in any magazine, or that has ever played any music other than schlongtek (in an underground manner)

rip off of henrik b.

no it ain't mate. Really don't know why you think Henrik B is so original and this is a copy of his sound?

One side is very 'London', if anything, and the other is electro.

Henrik B has more originality in his little finger than Eric Prydz. For his number one smash he used samples made by Dj Falcon and Thomas Bangalter, and then proceeded to claim all production credits and royalites. Hmmmm thats original.

this is a stinker of a record too, i dont know people are getting excited by it. Well made obviously, but the content is drivel. run of the mill disco/house/techno crossover record which are ten a penny these days

Eric Prydz is a wicked producer.

Sorry to bring this thread up again, but I just ordered this, and I think it is one of the best analogue bassline sounding tracks I've heard in ages!

Just can't believe this bloke produced that cheesey house track too  Although fair play too him, its good for the radio, and if he can produce techno stuff like this aswell then he's quality in my eyes. What do you reckon are the chances of any of any other techno producer having a no. 1 in the uk?

anx

what cheesy house track did he make?

killarava2day
30-12-2004, 03:43 AM
^^^Call on Me, I actually brought this as well. Might be cheesy, but it really is well produced, lots going on in the mix too, sounds all right. I'd love a stripped down version without the vocals.
