i must admit i didnt take to this mix 1st listen, but last night i listened to it again and really enjoyed it. so much so it got played 3 times back to back. still not sure about one or to of the tunes picked, but thats always going to be personal preference.

the only thing i didnt really like about it is it didnt really progress from teh more ambiant stuff tot he harder gritter stuff.

all in all, good work though :)

cheers for the feeback mangafish. 3 times b2b,,,impressive!

on the progression point, i totally agree. i was trying to throw progression out the window as sometimes it really bores me, but also all the mixes were first timers as i feel this gives the mix more energy rather than sounding pre programmed if you know what i mean. obviously mixing this way isn't always gona work and its a gamble to see whether the tunes will sit nicely togetehr but i don't think it turned out all that bad.

it didnt turn out bad because you managed to keep it on roughly the same level. you didnt take it too hard then go electroy for example.

i totally agree with you that creating a cd with a smooth progression is one hell of a task and quite often take the fun out of doing a cd (as you almost always end up pre-programming it to some degree)
