Ultan Quin [Streetlife - Limerick]
Metroneem - DJ Set [Satamile]
Addict [Glitz]

Admission : e6 / e5 with flyer

Thanks to everyone who attended last Thursday. It was a great night and
you'll be hearing more from Dan & Rob later in the year. This week we
handout three debuts Electric City sets to Ultan Quin, Iain O'Farrell aka
Metroneem and John Brady aka Addict.

First up is Waterford native John Brady, he is a big fan of the
Gigolo-electro flavours and will be super-synthesizing the club up for the
opening slot. He is currently in the midst of putting an electro club
together in his hometown so expect to hear more of Glitz in the coming
months. Following him will be Iain O'Farrell who has recently released his
debut EP under the 'Metroneem' pseudonym on Satamile entitled 'Skip Mode'.
This will be a DJ set from Iain and he will most likely be rocking the
darker edges of electro which will lead nicely into our final guest of the
evening.

Finishing off the night will be Ultan Quin. After being introduced to all
things dance in that bastion of Irish clubbing - Sir Henry's, Cork - Ultan
took up the decks in early 1997. Since that time he's had several
residencies including Blue at Temple of Sound, Limerick featuring national
and international guests as well as doing guest spots at various other clubs
around Limerick. Ultan is well known to Dublin crowds as a monthly resident
at Genius @ The Kitchen and Eyecue @ The POD and more recently an appearance
@ Bleep in Bodkins. He also used to do a radio show on Kiss FM, Limerick and
occasionally did guest spots on Power FM in Dublin and Radio Friendly in
Cork. He plays a lot of different styles encompassing electro, techno,
electronica & house, and prides himself on searching out and playing, new
and different music. His style is adaptive and goes from long flowing mixes
to cutting up records fusing the different elements to create a new sound.
In a word - Individual! He's also, for his sins, a Liverpool fan! Had we at
Electric City known of his filthy Scouse affiliations Ultan would never have
been asked to play the club, however, since we had gone to print on flyers
and posters we have no choice but to let him behind the decks. We trust he
will have had a bath before arriving.

He'll be playing from a selection including:

Anthony Rother - Dreampeople/Break Down The Walls [PSI49NET]
Alter Ego - Rocker [Klang]
Johan Bacto - A Nation Of People With Their Hands In The Pocket [Zync]
DJ T-1000 - Karma 2 [Pure Sonik]
