Pro Tools question

I´m starting to use vst instruments and the problem i have is recording them to an audio track. I´ve inserted the plugin but when i hit the record button there´s no signal coming in.
Iff anyone knows what to do please help me.

U probably have some sort of routing that u need 2 set up... what do u use as input for that audio track!

If your using Pro tools you have to route your Instuments output through a new aux bus to record it !
