cubase SX noob question

i decided to ditch the rem1x for now and just use cubase sx to sequence with. maybe i could just get rid of the rm1x altogether if this proves easier...
ANYWAY! i cant get channel 2 to play on cubase sx. ch 1 works just like it should but ch 2 i dont get any audio response from my virus. i get a midi response from my midi interface and cubase but no noise. what gives?

Do you have the channel transmitting to the correct MIDI channel number, and your Virus set to recieve on that same number?

got it all figured out. virus was set up to single mode (whoopsie!). tap it into multi mode and its all set to go now.
now all i have to do is read the manual and find out how to save my own sounds to be accessible by cubase.....
