Having finally found the chance to recoup from a highly eventful summer, we look forward to the final instalment of the S.E.N.D project and it is with much excitement that we reveal that we will be joined by a veritable 3-course feast of live electronic music for this final event; the line-up of which so aptly illustrates the ethos that the Outlet Collective has maintained since their inception way-back-whenever…

Having made appearances for many of the most revered Techno imprints, both present and past. pioneering labels such as Planet E, old school U.K. favourites G.P.R. & New Electronica, 100% Pure and Ifach, Stefan Robbers is an all too often unsung legend in electronic dance music whom, over the last 3 decades, has recorded a truly stunning legacy of emotive, forward-thinking Techno under a plethora of guises - The core of which, and that for which he is most renowned, can be found on his own seminal imprint, Eevolute Musique (Formed in 1991) and Djax-up Beats (Which he co-founded with Saskia Slegers a.k.a. Miss Djax in 1990). Not only did they serve as an outlet for Robbers’ many projects - Terrace, Florence, R.E.C., Acid Junkies (w/Harold de Kinderen) and more recently, Planalto & 123:ABC, to name but a handful – but these two labels were responsible, to a large degree for techno and electronic dance music gaining the great amount of momentum it did throughout Europe and the UK during the very early nineties and, furthermore, its remarkably rapid evolution during a time when the music was still at a relatively embryonic stage.

For this exclusive performance, Stefan will be performing in his Terrace guise for a set which, whilst drawing heavily from the original mindset of said project, will also encompass elements of his various other guises, both new and old and with Robbers being the seasoned live performer that he is, having torn up countless raves and parties worldwide both as part of the Acid Junkies crew and as a solo artist, this really promises to be a mind blowing performance that should not be missed!

We are further pleased to announce the debut performance from of a discrete group of collaborative producers close to The Outlet Collective whom have recently cemented their relationship by coming together as a live outfit under the moniker Random Tag. Both drawing upon each individual’s diverse array of influences and their considerable, finely honed production skills, Random Tag look set to provide a compelling, intricate & heady brew of beats, bass and abstraction that is equally as focussed upon the dancefloor as it is the sensory experience.

Finally, lighting the proverbial touch-paper of the line-up, the long-overdue S.E.N.D. debut of an artist who has captured the imagination of OC since his early recordings as Being for Andrew Weatherall’s Emissions label and more recently with his recordings for Carl Finlow’s SCSI:AV & his own superb Gasoline imprint, we present Edinburgh’s The Weed DJs. This will be Dave’s first appearance in London since re-configuring his live sets to allow a much more interactive approach and we can tell ya right now, he’s as up for it as we are… Expect the unexpected whilst being safe in the knowledge you’ll be getting a right funked-up seeing-to courtesy of one of the most exciting electro artists on the scene.

Almost surplus to requirements on this occasion, jockey-ing your discs for the evening will be the Outlet DJ Crew.

PLEASE NOTE: As stated above, this party will operate on an advance entry basis with pre-paid entry being available by phone or email from the Outlet camp. For the record, we have switched venues for this party (bringing into play a regularly priced bar with pints n' everthin'!) whilst maintaining the intimacy of previous events and similarly there will be no guaranteed entry on the night, so to avoid disappointment, please get your ticket orders to us as quickly as possible!

...We sincerely hope too see ya there!

Peace.
