United's recent form has been painfully indifferent, even the Fenerbahce victory wasn't a convincing performance from a defensive point of view, and although we created enough chances against Middlesborough the team were still unable to put McLaren's men to the sword...

On saturday it's time to face yet another Old Trafford hero turned promising young manager, the mighty Steve Bruce. Now that we have our first team fit, United need to show that they are more than a match for any side the World, and still capable of the highest honours this season...

I'd start with Smithy up-front, alongside the main man - Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Who ofcourse scored twice last night for Holland against the Fins. We'll be lookin for strong performances from our key players, including Rio, Scholes and young Cristiano (also bagging a brace last night for Portugal against Russia)...

C'mon Utd!!

Nah man...

He played mid-week and is still young, i'd have him on the bench ready for if things get dodgy...
