FYI

Don't know about the rest of y'all but the death of John Peel has really cut
me up - its like the remains of the old youth washing down the plug hole. Any
way I don't usually like these minutes silence things - they're often a bit
suspect and politically motivated. But I was thinking in tribute to john Peel we
should unleash 1 minutes NOISE By this I mean punk, hard rock, death metal,
drill n bass, gabba, techno, industrial, drum "n" bass, hard ragga, electro,
jacking house - stuff the man himself would haved played. NOT alt- country,
anything by the Thrills, Westlife etc. This should be IN YOUR WORKPLACE OR NEAR
YOUR NEIGHBOURS FOR MAXIMUM EFFECT.

I'm thinking 12 pm on Friday - for all the freaks, geeks, metallers, muzoids and
noise merchants - show em what ya got!

FORWARD THIS !

you know it!
it's our night on friday, so we'll be rockin' some techno,
and i'm gonna dig out something special for midnight in the backroom,
bit of Atari Teenage Riot maybe?

Sounds like a plan mate. I agree, I was gutted to hear that he died, I even wrote a tribute on me website I was that shocked.
Why is it that all the cool, good, decent people have to die early. I be George Bush lives to be a hundred.
RIP John Peel, you'll be sadly and greatly missed.

I know, it feels like the loss of a close friend.

Still cant believe it.

Anyway, great idea.

Im on half term break from college, but im sure Mr old man with trilby hat and scotty dog would just about cope with me banging some techno out LOUD for a minute. (forever moaning that man)
