right so i want to use the Rim Shot Trigger from either my 909 or my 707 into the 202 where does it plug in i tried em all and doesnt seem to play the rim shot pattern?? i have had it workin on another 707+202 bout 7 years back...

also can i use the 909 as a master and sync the 707 to sync the 202 or at least just the 202?

many thanx

Thinking about this
I am not 100% sure you can trigger the 202 from a drum machine like you can on the 101 via the EXT CLK IN..

The only way I know so far is to, connect the 202 to a 101 via the cv & gate inputs. Then connect the rim trigger from the 909 to the ext clkin on the 101 and the you will have the 101 & 202 being triggered from the rim.

I have no real knowledge of the hardware side of things, anyone care to explain why you would do all this? what the result is? what you would gain?

Just curious!

does the 202 use sync 24 if so , use the 707 to sync that and use the midi out on the 707 to sync the 909 .
but the 707 has to be master for it to send from sync 24 and midi out.

anyone wanna buy a 101 cheap 100 QUID and i will throw in a mod grip

one key dont work though allthough it triggers fine over cv input.

or a 707 for 60 quid works fine
