hi:)

i wanna sync up my tr-909 and mc-202. at the moment im usin a tr-707 would the sbx-80 any better?

i would like to be able to stop the 202 in a live situation and load up a new sequence which isnt possible with this set up although i seem to be able to stop start the 909 in the sync up.

thought i bring this thread back to life, maybe someone can help...

although the gear im using has changed...

Basically i have heard you can Stop/Start your individual peices of kit while keeping the sbx running other gear...

so if i was to have the SBX-80 (or SBX-10) as master - din out to a 303 and 606 and midi out to an EPS sampler . could i have everything running in sync then stop the 303 or 606 from their own panels and still have the EPS running sequences...?

sorry i forgot all about this

I did get my sbx but have only had it turned on once.......

i was trying to use it as a master to control a 202 & 303 and it worked a treat, it was when i tried to slave the pc to it i had problems.

anyway i think you could stop machines ok when they were playing but i cant remember if you were able to start them again and they would go back in sync again.

i must have another look at it again and get back to you
