500ml bottles of Krombacher beer only e3.50

This Saturday 27th November, the Belvedere plays host once again to a night of full on techno. Topping the bill are two of the capital's favourite DJs, Kalif and Sunil Sharpe, playing their first publicly performed 4 deck set. Support comes from Jon Hussey, with Keith Commins on warm up duty. The usual ease on your pocket applies, with door tax just 6euro all night with a flyer and a 500ml bottle of Krombacher beer will set you back a mere 3.50euro. Doors open at 10pm, arrive early to avoid being late.

Kalif

Kalif is a firm favourite among Dublin techno lovers, having earned the respect of everyone with any interest in the scene during the short time he lived here. Brazilian native Kalif first set foot on Irish shores in 1998, and it wasn't long before he'd made his mark on the Dublin techno scene. During his stay he played very often, and has graced the decks of just about every techno club in the capital you can think of. Not only that, but he has displayed his talents far and wide, not only in his home country but also in European techno havens such as Holland and France. His fast paced, hard, tribal techno, coupled with his remarkable technical ability make for a truly amazing set every time he plays. Back in Dublin for a short time, he's stepping up to the decks at The Belvedere on November 27th, but he won't be doing it alone...

Sunil Sharpe

Joining Kalif behind 4 decks and 2 mixers for an exclusive tag team set is none other than Sunil Sharpe. Probably the busiest and most popular techno DJ in the country (and for good reason), Sunil can be found playing in support of some of the biggest names in techno, as well as headlining many a night himself, often to capacity crowds. Sunil is a highly experienced DJ having played all over the country as well as abroad, from the UK to Slovakia. Hard techno at it's best from a true connoisseur and purveyor of electronic music.

Jon Hussey

Support on the night comes from Jon Hussey. Dublin native Jon has been involved in the scene for well over a decade now. Having run numerous nights through the years, including Planet Dub ('94), Awe ('95) and Ascension ('96), Jon has also played in most of Dublin and Ireland's techno clubs for most of the clubs and promoters that have been around over the last 10 years or so. Jon is also no stranger to the European scene, having played in the UK, Slovakia and Germany. Expect hard, deep and minimal techno to really get you in the mood to move.

Keith Commins

On warm up duty is boss man down the bio-tec camp, Keith Commins. Founder of the Compression techno nights, Keith will be supplying some funky techno to get your heads bopping and your feet tapping from the word go.
