OH MY GOOD GOD YES! PEOPLE CAN SAY WOT THEY LIKE ABOUT DAVE CLARKE, BUT I WILL TELL YOU THIS FROM FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE, WHEN HE IS ON THE MIXER, YOU NO DADDYS HERE, AND YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE ANILATED :rambo:

HE IS LIKE A GOD DAM MECHANIC, TAKING RECORD MIXING TO ANOTHER LEVEL!

LOVE HIM TO BITS BUT MUST AGGREE WITH A FEW PEOPLE, I TRIED TO BOOK HIM ONCE OR TWICE AND THE COST WAS WELL OUT OF MY BUDGET! CUMS INTO SUPERSTAR DJ WAGES WHICH I COULD NEVER AGREE WITH.

ALL THINGS ASIDE A TRUE MASTER! JEDI!

DVD ON ITS WAY! ;)

Turn your caps lock off Jon...

Dave's a good man and the thing about his costs is a boring one, that's what he charges and he brings the crowd...Stop bitching and trying to book him for £800...

Don't like what he plays??? Not fans of Makaton/Surgeon/Regis/DJ Bone then...

He's an easy target for bitter people I reckon.

He could sit on a bar stool and sip pims all night as far as I'm concerned, as long as he dropped some serious sh*t and cut it up a bit every now and then. ;)

I think the fact that he is an arse (or gives that impression) just adds to the enigma.

I have seen him be really shit (gkgg) and then really amazing (awakenings and Chibuku last month) but the guy is a legend, been around for a long time and has the respect of most other djs

I am wanting this dvd, but would rather see him doing it dj style like Mills!!!!

but again we all get like that and he's an easy target for sure

ive not seen this DVD yet altho apparently im on it somewhere haha, so is Long looking nervous backstage at creamfields haha

The DVD is just ok, the flick is based only on his live performances which in my opinion weren't too great. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea.

yeah he`s defo a good dj but his production is shockingly bad nowadays he`s obviously got sooooo much money that he`s just taking the piss out of everyone (exept me and shlong fingers clearly)

i've seen clarke play 3 or 4 times in the last yr and out of the whole line up he has produced the best crowd reactions better than the likes of beyer, cox , mills. he still manages 2 pack out festival arenas and club nights playing both dj sets and live performances using recent material that he has produced and getting huge responces.

Clarke's production is really horrible, on the other hand his Djsets, even they're not pounding as i'd like, people love his stzle of mixing,. gr dj skills.. i would also say, that he's not just one overpaid Dj on the scene, there is tone of others who takes really ****ing much money for playing... it makes sense to me regarding to costs and benefits fopr promoter, who book him .Dave Clarke can bring lot of people to venue, at least here in Cyech rep.,.,. and that's it... do you think,,these guys would claim so much money when promoters will not play their games, and not pay this...

Hardly what you would call horrible tracks is it.

he didn't convinced me,. maybe horrible is too strong word,, but in compare to Djing, his production isn't as good as it could be.., my opinion.

never been into him. not into that style of production, and i'm not sure that just playing records warrants 5 grand a set, 1st class flight and 5 star hotel no matter how good his skills are. throw in another deck or two and a 909 and i might be abit more impressed. overrated i reckon.

I've always found him a bit hit or miss...The twice i seen him at the arches in glasgow he really pulled out the stops though and played a fair bit tougher than when i've seen him down south. I thought his live set was pretty average and a bit boring tbh.

Overall I'd say I liked him though:p

dont believe the hype.sums up clarke perfectly.he gets those reactions because of his name/the hype.
