Anybody recommend a good program for making loops.

I have a yamaha su700 loop sampler for live use but i want to make up loops on the pc then fire them into it.

Just looking for a good program for this....i could use reason but if ther was a dedicated loop program i thnik that would be better..

and also a good program for messin about with samles....maybe sound forge???

thanks folks.....

what about just fukin about with a single sample.....im sure folk have told me sound forge would be best...

Sound Forge... Wavelab (my personal favorite).... Also Recycle has some cool builtin treatment fx that are easy access.

recycle is good 4 mangling and working with a given loop,
Audio editing.. Wavelab (here here) or soundforge..

2 make yer own loops... fruity, live (if u wanna combine loops much like u would with yer su) from samples or synths!
