Not bad acid techno.
Although really I think you should be a bit more advenurous than having a 1 minute and 40 second intro of virtually nothing but a kick and hat.
Acid Techno is an old sound that needs a lot of innovation to keep it interesting.

I use a long intro as I mix right from the break of the last tune and so it fattens the last half of the last track. Makes new acid riffs during the crossfade too. That's why my intros are always quite static. It's good for cutting too. I think of how I DJ when I write a track.

Yeah, I know, but it`s kind of an old way of doing acid techno, and most of the interesting stuff for good mixing is in the mid range, and a kick and a hat doesn`t have any of that.
Don`t get me wrong this is good acid techno.
But, to you`ve got to be damn good and damn clever to be on a par with the people who invented it.

I do know exactly what you mean. I still class myself as a beginner. Never quite know how to make it progress. Will keep at it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Solid track. Clear production, nice acid lines. Very linear & blocky though - you could probably get more out of the elements you've used by playing around with them a bit more, varying their patterns more etc. Good foundation, just could do with a bit more spice to make it really stand out...

its far better than anything i could have produced, but my only critasisum is it sounds too much like techno by numbers.
