Soundcard quesion! please help

So im in the market for a soundcard...and i have no clue what exactly im looking for.

i wanna be able to use midi instruments and synths and other shite in conjunction with my software...i also want some better sound quality.

am i looking more towards an audio interface or a sound card?

also how do i hook up multiple midi devices together and send em all into my midi keyboard or computer?


im so clueless! help!

the m-audio delta 1010lt is a good sound card... ive got one and not had any probs with it yet..

this is the question i not long ago posted.

Im looking to get one at some point, but saving up big time.

I wouldnt mind investing in something quite extravagant at this moment in time but could come in useful for future. I want ins and outs, good sound and no probs with my computer struggling to play all my midi tracks....
