Sub bass

anyone give me any help on how to use sub bass, and how to create it? any plugins etc i can use? im currently using a sub bass sample in fruity but wondering if any dedicated sub bass synths are out there

Just make sure your actual bass sound has a bit of depth to it an EQ it carefully. That's the the least messy way of doing it. After that try MaxBass (Waves) on your existing sound, there's a preset Dies Bassum or something ... or failing that wack a sine wave/triangle wave an octave down. But unless your monitoring is very well set up you could well turn your track into a mushy mess....

You often need remarkably little bass for a club.
