Well i had hoped to write a track today but ive just been informed im due in college soon
so i thought i might aswell post what ive done so far this morning anyway.
ive encoded the mp3 differntly then i usally do and its resulted in some strange sounding, almost nasal top end :hmm: , but the mix is still quite ruff at the moment anyway.
bit of a proggy feel to it so far

Hey Mate,
First of all there are some very nice ideas in the initial mix of the track.
Secondly I'll try not to comment on the mix itself for obvious reasons but the instrumentation doesn't seem to clash to much (considering how dry the track is). You might want to try and use a few differently timed delays to try and space out the echoes when the track is building (around 2min). Apart from that little blemish the track seems to have enough of the basic elements to keep the listener engaged.
P.s. You might want to look at the timing and panning positions of the reversed claps as some of them are fading into a gap and not the next drop (eg 2:20) which will throw out the listeners timing (definately not a good thing in a club full of punters that find it hard to keep a straight face let alone a straight beat  ). I'll try and word that better, when you are using the reversed clap, i am not quite sure exactly what you have done, but it seems that the reversed clap in the right stereo field is to early and loud compared to the reversed clap in the left stereo field. So if you are feeding a stereo dealy with the right stereo field panned clap turn the send level up a notch to make the delayed signal stronger or adjust the timing the clap sample.
I know i'm knit picking but this was one thing that really stood out to me.
Other than that, well done on a good result from just a morning sesson
