New cd for the uplifting generation

Right guys like is said before i will have a new cd soon for yas.
The last one for the five who got it will agree that it was a random track listing, a mixture of techy house type tracks with a few classic from underworld and the gouryella era (1999 you know the year ;-)

Well this one is alot better produced and has a better selection of new uplifting trance tracks. The only thing i ask in return is an accurate review of the selection of tracks and the mixing.

If the track listing is not your cup of tea then thats fine but i know there some of you on here who love this stuff, and whats more is that its free.

Trance is a versatile genre mate. Fair play that he's not bothered about being different to everyone else on here.

I know that i have a totally different style from others on the forum but still i love talking about all types of trance and this is the best place for it.

Its good to be unique, and i can see many different unique people on here with different styles and views on music. This is what makes this forum so good. It would be totally shite if we agreed and played exactly the same tunes. What would we talk about???

Mate I got your CD this morning however I don't think it was the CD that was listed on the cover. I think there was definitely a Justin Timberlake :lol: :shock: :oops: tune on it and one by those kids that sing that year 3000 song. It might have been Now 45 I think. Anyway I've given it to the gay bloke in the office and he loves it, you should see him singing along, he's happy as larry on LSD. :lol: Could I please have the real CD.

Sorry to trance addict, that cd got into a pile of the cds that i had been making. Its one my sister downloaded. So as you can tell its a pile of shite.

Got your cd yesterday mate, played it last night and it cost me 70 quid cause it got me right in the mood for going out.
As you said a totally different track selection from that of what you normally see on here, but that made it a little bit more intresting.
The miss behavin track stuck out as being odd, but it fitted perfectly.
There was a few effects during the first couple of tracks, but u seemed to stop ?? liked the intro worked well, made me take notice right from the start always a good thing i think. the style of the cd gave me the impression of an older dj yet i get the impression this aint the case?? it had the general feel of a well thought out set ( this is not a dis ), to me this just shows your passion for you music,. on a forum that constantley dis's the commercial world you played chicane. a cd that as trance addict said shows there is many sides to trance
i look forward to hearing some more of your stuff
Brave enough to b different is one thing to pull it off as you have is something else :D :wink: :D

yea i think that the intro was very interesting, it actually took me about two weeks to make.
I used sound forge to rearange the samples. Recorded both tracks in then started to work them in and out of each other like a beat juggle. Theres even a bit were it goes in reverse, which meant recording the vocal in reverse using my vestax reverse button.
The thing with the miss behaving track is that my mate had been playing it to me of a tape and we didnt know what it was. I eventually found it and placed it on the cd. between the last two tracks was the only place i could make it fit into the structure, as i wanted the prophet to be the climax.
Although i do have a new kaoss pad 2 i try and no batter the effects because it could make the songs seam misleading. I thing the tracks speak for themselves.
I always plan the mix thourghly beofre i start to record. For some reason when i know its not been planned it bugs me everytime i listen to it, its just this thing i have about creating the perfect cd collection. So far i have made 4 perfect cds, (2 of which have been available on this forum). These cds are my best work so i always make them as good as possible.
I think theres only one tiny mistake on the cd and thats on the mix for miss behavin, the beats slightly waver from each other for a split second before i pull out the last track. Not much realy, probobly cant here it.

Anyways the other cds are on the way to the members i promised them.
If anyone gets some cd thats not what it says on the cover like trance addict did, just send me a msg and ill send you the proper 1.

Got the real one this morning mate, only had a chance to listen to your intro and the mix out of the first tune then I had to go to college. It's very hard to comment because I don't know the tunes at all, e.i. how they end/begin and such but from what I've heard it flowed nicely. I'll let you know the rest when I get home. :thumbs up:

Alright I've had a listen, I found it difficult to listen to the whole CD because of the tune selection but I did anyways. Can't fault your mixes really although there wasn't anything that really grabbed my attention. I suppose it's difficult to mix vocal trance in any other way then at the end of the record. For a yungun though you quite good, how long have you been mixing? I reckon you should do a Hard Trance CD next, then I and everyone else would really be able to give you some good feedback because we can relate to it.

hey "C", got your cd, while i was holiday mate, had a listen and thought it was impressive, different style different sound. Good. It makes a change to listen to somethin a bit different than the usual hardstyle/trance..

Mixing was v.good, but as T.A said before, i s'pose mixing vocal trance, has its downsides as to how you can mix mate..

Big up to yerself though, the cd was very fresh mate..
Would be nice to hear a Hard trance cd from your kind self.
