Arsenal have played really crap compared to there high standards. Newcastle were shit in the first half and was very unlucky with the goal. Veira hit roughly 30 yards out at an angle and it cliped the defender in front of him and looped over Shay Given. Other than that Arsenal did bugger all really.

2nd half Newcastle kept hold of the ball and passed well. Just couldn't really dig out a proper opportunity to shoot at goal. The shots they did have went wide or at the keeper.

Ameobi did ok, Robert just didn't hit decent crosses. Steve Taylor looked good! finally! a youth player at SJP that looks like he may mature in to something like good.

Newcastle need to get rid of so many players. KEIRON DYER IS SHITE. I used to rate him highly, but he thinks he's made it and therefore doesn't have to work hard. He should be sold. Did you know he used to burn £20 notes in front of his friends to impress them? what a cock. If he's going to give money away at least give it to charity.

Bowyer seemed frustrated and let that get the better of him. Shame, at 28 you'd think he'd learned to keep his head but I don't think he ever will.

Bellamy, he was quieter than usual. Not much to say really...

Jenas, had some nice touches and moments, but nothing to shout about.

Newcastle gave the ball away far too much in first half. Also Newcastles off the ball movement is terrible. Players who NOT marking anyone will not move forward or will not bring themselves in to a more easier position to pass to. So many shit passes or passes under pressure.

Arsenal, despite not really displaying the form they have done this year, never made it easy for Newcastle ever, there was just no enough quality in the team to finish the chances that Newcastle had.
