there's a firewire version which is pretty much devoloped for laptops its quite a bit more expensive but is about 3 times as powerfull as the card version.

im pretty sure the Uberdruck boys use this card....isnt it right that the plugins run from the cards on board memory CPU and RAM isnt an issue?

tc powercore is a firewire plugins processor, pretty powerful as well, but costs about $1200

i personally prefer the uad-1 card, cause i think these plug ins sound much better
