Once again, DJ Becka and techno label Gotham Grooves of NYC are back to bring you ‘Gotham City Radio’ on Livesets.com.
Airing every Saturday, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm EST(eastern standard time) 18:00 – 21:00 CET(central european time). Alongside Becka's weekly tune selections, we will be featuring international and local guest dj's and performances for your enjoyment. Joining Becka on the show this week is NYC’s own Justin Schumacher.
Justin Schumacher has been paying his dues in the NYC techno scene since 2000. Simultaneously after scoring his decks, he landed a job at world renown
Satellite Records, which conveniently provided him with all the vinyl he could
sift through. This in turn helped him establish tight connections with local promoters landing him gigs at several well respected weekly's, one-offs, and internet radio shows in the NYC area. Satellite also gave him a weekly residency on their XM satellite radio show.
Currently, Justin is hard at work in his home studio pumping out tracks, and
collaborating with Gotham Grooves own Agent Orange on tunes which will hopefully and a release on a prominent label.
Justin takes serious pride in tune selection, tight programming, and clever eq
manipulation. Dancefloors are never disappointed. His style ranges from deep
and spooky, to dancefloor phunk, to straight dark banging madness. there is no
monotony, just an evolving journey through this elaborate music we call techno.
