Yeah it went pretty bad mate, I said it to everyone immediately after my set, I struggled on those extremely mid-range monitor's and poorly set-up mixer...but then hey, everyone's plays a bad set once in a while don't they Simon... ;)

All I heard is the equipment was all setup perfectly all the gains setup by the club manager, u walk in thinking your some DJ God dont even say hello to anyone, wack the gains up full and f*cked it allllllllllllll up :nono: playing the most terrible distorted shit music ever heard and thinking nothing was wrong! Couldnt find many people who didnt say after the night 'your right that guy is a dickhead' :lol:

Any future events I do will be with Trance DJs like Mark Norman, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick Cor Fijnerman, Montana, Signum etc.. things you would know nothing about. Not that I would have any problems booking djs like M-Zone who I have alot of respect for :clap:

Plus I arrived at about 3 minutes to ten and was gagging for a piss...I get there and firstly the CD deck is aligned to the 2nd channel when the the deck is to my right...with the corresponding turntables set up on 3&4...which I admit, threw me off....secondly, I found that the pitch on the right deck was pretty loose, and very hard to keep in time, also it was also a lot louder in the headphones on cue than the left (you can ask Lavy & Mark. Now about whacking the gains up...I'll have you know that they were in the middle of the control all the way through my set...

I have never 'strut my stuff' my friend and certainly done nothing of the sort like u acted at candystore. The main problem people had was with your disrespect for the venue, the sound system and the staff. I was only briefly mentioning your set.... but seeing as you mention it nice tracklisting for a WARMUP! :lol: perhaps maybe one day your learn how to do one of those.

And the reason I played harder than I did was because a 30 strong busload of my Bridport/Axminster came to see me play, and after struggling with my first couple of tunes, which I may add were tech-trance, I had to pull them back with something they appreciate more, like hard trance....

Respect, which it's all about nowadays, I have a lot of...but not for people like yourself....

what? from what a managed to translate from that your saying I should have given constructive comments - well unfortunately I have never recieved constructive points from corbz only endless digs at everything I have promoted on this board - so what goes around comes around and I have given points anyway detailing all the different ways he pissed everyone off.

I also think your find that most club owners might not know loads about DJing but they do know what the fu*king sound levels are supposed to be in there own club! :doh: they work that club night in and night out and have dealt with hundreds and hundreds of different djs (hence why the sound levels were pre-set) pretty basic stuff to most people ;)
