Once again, DJ Becka and techno label Gotham Grooves of NYC are back to bring you ‘Gotham City Radio’ on Livesets.com.
Airing every Saturday, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm EST(eastern standard time) 18:00 – 21:00 CET(central european time). Alongside Becka's weekly tune selections, we will be featuring international and local guest dj's and performances for your enjoyment. Our guest this week comes all the way from the city of Medellin in beautiful Columbia, South America.
Camilo serna (DJ Serna) was born in Medellin - Colombia in 1985
and has always been known as ‘the DJ’ at parties ranging from birthday to school events. Influenced by such greats as Chris Liebing, Lars Klein, Michael Burkat, and Patrik Skoog, he started playing small underground parties in and around his city. As word spread of his skills, Serna earned a residency in 2002 at the Seven Eleven Club in Medellin for one year.
In Medellin, Serna has been like a dj revelation, having played parties both big and small with local artists as well as international talent, including Marco Lenzi.
In addition to his busy schedule as resident at Medellin’s Crazy Club and other various performances, Serna also is currently working in the production studio, with hopes of releasing his own brand of techno to the masses in 2005.
