On this February night, for three straight hours, five electronic musicians combine their talents to bring you a massive live performance. Their palette will be an excessive amount of studio hardware, a PC, and a crate of vinyl. With Shawn, Lukas, and Matt at the helm of the insanity, Jwan and Adam will complement their live work through the dj mixer, manipulating and adding elements to the mix.
Maintaining strong links to Detroit techno, Shawn Rudiman's 2004 performance at "Green Lights Go"-a highlight moment at Detroit's annual Movement Festival-saw him simultaneously working his live set along with legendary artists Claude Young and Anthony "Shake" Shakir. Expect a similar experience this month at rizumu, courtesy of Funkshun and the Technoir collective.
Technoiraudio is committed and dedicated to releasing only quality material with strong ideas, direction, personality, and feeling-striving for definition that cannot simply be packaged into neatly labeled bins. Complimentary copies of Shawn Rudiman's Synthesexual LP will be given out in celebration of the new release.
