Can anyone give me a bit of feedback on a motu 828mk1 or mk2? I currently have a m-audio delta 1010lt but want to upgrade........is this a good option for latency etc

cheers
scott.

i have the 828mk2, i love it, and i'm going to buy another one soon, so i have double the channels

latency isnt an issue, because there is nearly NO latency, its definitely worth the money

this thing even works as a stand alone mixer!

Sounds good, or would it be best to buy another delta1010lt for a total of 16 outs? If i upgraded to a MOTU828 would i get the same sound results or better? Any suggestions anyone?

i'd say 828 all the way. i used to have an echo gina - similar spec to the 10/10 and when i got the 828 i was blown away gobsmaked. RE: buying two - why don't you use an ADAT converter??? You can get another 8 channels that way too.

 you know that, i think they are about 300 quidish for an ok adat converter , does that sound about right?
