Once again, DJ Becka and techno label Gotham Grooves of NYC are back to bring you ‘Gotham City Radio’ on Livesets.com.
Airing every Saturday, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm EST(eastern standard time) 18:00 – 21:00 CET(central european time). Alongside Becka's weekly tune selections, we will be featuring international and local guest dj's and performances for your enjoyment. We are proud to present to you this week’s special guest artist, Bryan Zentz.
Bryan couldn’t be in the studio in person, but he is here with us in spirit as we will be broadcasting an exclusive set recorded during his appearance at last week’s event at New York’s hot spot, Sullivan Room.
Since he was a young tyke Bryan Zentz has always been enthralled with the sound of electronic music. Alongside punk, metal, hardcore and hip hop, the sounds of electronic bands like human league, kraftwerk, soulsonic force and later lfo, cabaret voltaire, skinny puppy, and inner city captured his ear. After taking out a small loan and purchasing an ensoniq mirage sampling keyboard, the madness began. Lots of midi cables and 40 or so records later, on labels such as Intec, Jericho, Primate, and his own label, Distruptor, Bryan still resides in the unlikely state of Virginia and hopes to one day migrate elsewhere. He is also trying to write this bio so that it sounds cool and in the third person. Meanwhile check out his upcoming mix cd on Monoid as well as his latest ep on Morris Audio City Sport under the name "The Forlorn".
