Morph A.K.A. Sola Perplexus (Pillbox, Obscene, Super Scientists, Diverse Frequencies, Pedigree Skum) is no stranger to the Edinburgh techno scene, having been producing and performing his own music in live p.a.s for the last six years. So it was about time this stuff became more widely available on vinyl.
This month’s React sees the launch of Morph’s record label ‘AUDIODACITY', with Audiod 001 - 'Morph - The Broad Nightlight E.P.'
The label's debut release is a four track techno record. While there will remain a strong techno presence on the label, Audiodacity will ultimately also reflect its founder's eclectic tastes and various projects, covering hardtek, drum and bass, electro, microhouse, futuristic hiphop, ambient and any freakyness that crosses the mind.
From Morph expect to hear a set of hard techno laced with heavy basslines, acidic touches, funk infested beats, mad breaks and plenty of banging belters to get you and label off on a good one…
Also supported in full by the PNR DJz - Fiddla + Ramkanman on dex, fx and live pa... but mainly just LIVE!!
