Ableton Envelope problem

Hi guys,

Right I have a problem that is quite literally driving me nuts. I'm recording in controller data in the form of the on and off messages from a plugin (ie my keyboard is triggering the Device On of an eq). Everything gets recorded in beautifully, smashing.

Now, occasionally I'll touch the on and off button of the plugin again, without recording, and when I do this the envelop for the data I previously recorded seems to go 'offline'. It goes from bright red to a dark brown and Ableton stops reading it.

How do I get that envelop to come back online???? I just can't figure it out. Anyone???

In the transport bar, next to the Overdub button, your "Back to Arangement" button should of turned red. Click it to turn it back to grey and it should sort the problem.
