I heard a great cut up of queen by donna summer on the radio late one night, I hate queen, but that was wicked... I think Jamie's music is beyond techno, beyond everything really, ok maybe it would be cool if he still made techno, but he's just off on his own plot which I think is great... some of his live acts get pretty techno still with the 606 action.. and yes, Aeox are fresh as you like...

did jamie help set up subhead records or was that si begg?? who else should i check out along the aeox tip? i have a few bill youngman bits & pieces that are nice.

May be wrong but

Subhead was started by Phil Wells & Jason Leach, who were then joined by Jamie Lidell, who moved on, leaving Subhead as Phil Wells & Jason Leach again :)

You should check out The Aphorism, Null Records, Possible Records, Ibrahim Alpha and Ugly Funk.
