i think i've made some progress with my efforts recently, so here's a couple of things i've been working on.
first one uses the intro of prodigy's "breathe" as the main riff of the tune.
likes: the acid bits and the rumbley bass ;)
dis-likes: both the synth sounds (but kinda used to them now)
to do: change the synths - any suggestions?
played it out a few weekends ago, went down ok i think.

this second one, needs a vocal coming in on the break before the first kick in and then carried into the first kick in, but i'm stuck for ideas, so suggestions on that would be greatly welcomed ;)
likes: kick n bass, the main tune bit & the filtering on the off beat synth.
dis-likes: the main synth noise (again!)
to do: something extra for that first kick in.
