It`s full on, uplifting, commercial techno, and I make no apologies for it.

And its very good aswell, no need for apologies. I hate the misconception techno is never melodic and uplifting, I love synths, when they are used in the right manner and this track does that well :) Really nice bassline too.

Not into this at all. I know this geezer is capable but this tune is everything that turns me off purer techno.

It`s not pure techno?
It`s a commercial big room club track

thats cos u , like me , dont like commercial techno pete, has it taken you this long to work that out ?, the people on here who do like commercial techno like it, so thats good enuff for me,,,,, you have to have big respect for steve as he can clearly write any type of techno he wants and make it sound good to the relevent ears.

i love this tune,
i played it at a house party after a chemical brothers gig in town,
and this tune got de best reaction off the 20 something people in front of me jumping around the place!!
its also fairly similiar to "and the end of it all", dont ya think DB

I think the stuff on the ascend release is more upbeat than the A side stuff you get on my DB Label
I tend to go a little bit more tearful if I can, and I thought At the end of it all was a bit more sorroful, however, it`s always open to interpretation.

Sorry, i gotta be honest, I really don't like this track. I love melody, and I can take uplifting as well as dark, but I hate the ringing cluttered style going on here.

Don`t apologise mate, you don`t have to be sorry for not liking it.
If I apologised for all the techno I didn`t like I`d be writing posts all day.
