Maybe Ive misunderstood, but if you hold down the play/shift button on power up it becomes a soundmodule and disables all the buttons on the surface except the volume, then you can use PC to sequence it via midi tracks from whichever host application your using.

Sound diver is an Emagic product had it with an old Rolland D110 Synth (which I never used so cant really comment any more than that) ;o)

o right sorry..

was actually lookin a programme to edit MC303 patterns via midi..

kinda dump basic 303 patterns into a piece of s'ware & tidy it up, then back into the MC..

similair with the TX.. lookin for a controller programme as workin with jus 2 cursor buttons on a 2 line led is insane for FM synthesis lol

could this even be done with just Cubasis or something ?

for the TX you can use the old emagic app, Sound Diver (if you can find it). this is it's main purpose.
for the MC, i was joking... as in, i would throw it in the trash. =)
