DOWNBEAT is a new night hosted by Belfast based techno dj & producer Pete Donaldson...
DOWNBEAT will present an alternative to todays mass produced 'dance by numbers' with a selection of established local djs playing the more experimental sounds of todays established genres...
Expect to hear the beatless works of Surgeon, the minimil groove of Basic Channel, the deep electro of 69, the machine beats of Venetian Snares, the click house groove of Richie Hawtin, the advanced programming of Autechre, the soundtracks of John Carpenter & Vangelis alongside productions & home made edits of many of the featured artists enlisted to perform at this adventurous new project...
The launch night will also feature a number of limited pressings of the DOWNBEAT PROMO MIX VOL 001 which will feature a number of productions from local artists alongside established artists such as Cristian Vogel, LFO, Thomas Krome & many more internationally recognised artists...
