A lot of talk on here l8ly about the country club and the end of an era etc.. (quite rightly so !!!)

Did anyone from here ever get the chance to visit Enzo's near salisbury ??

another non commercial legendary club (and also a couple of doors down from my house!!)

I know Mark has played here heaps of times !! Inc Stu J's infamous boxing day parties called cold turkey , I think Mark has played @ the last 3 maybe 4 ....

Sadly though it held the last ever party on N.Y.E closing its doors when the last person left on new years day !!!!, it was a Monster line up of 44 djs from all the nights that had been held at the club spread across 4 rooms

It was absolutley rammed !!! and with stirling moss bringing in the new year in the main room, dropping all we need is love by the Beatles @ midnight !!! :D

Probably the most memorable club for me anyhows ....

yeah i was a member at enzos too. just like the country club middle of nowhere !! saw sterling moss play there a couple of times too, one of my favourite djs, his sets are awesome, up to four deck mixing and special effects to boot, hes just mixed the latest cyberdog cd which is mental !! i cant state that it was as good to me personally as the country club, but it was a wicked little nightspot, i first went there when cheeky little monkey were promoting there. strange place stuck in the middle of a hotel complex weird was sad to see it close, the loss of another great local nightspot

I only ever went to Enzos once, glad I did.It was a mental little club, and there was plenty of wrongness going on which was nice.It was a techno night with some woman DJ headlining (cant remember her name!?! :? )
after her set she said how much she liked Enzos, I told her I thought the Country Club was loads better hehe

(I dont care if that was controversial  haha)

I played at Enzos about 3 times last year & I also went there on regular occasions, absolutly crackin place. It was a big shame to see it close. they had some big names play up there over the years, I can remeber seeing billy nasty up there last year. One thing I liked about it is that they had different music styles Each night so you were spoilt for choice. The Adrenalin 'cold turkey' nights on boxing day were exellent, brings back memories of the good old harcore days. Duno what im gonna do this year on boxing day, hopefully somthing crops up
