UK webservers

What is wrong with UK webservers?! Every time I try to download some of these excellent sets, I'm stuck at dial-up or slower-than-dial-up speeds! Is the UK still not sorted for highspeed internet? Wasn't there a lawsuit or something like that happening against the UK telecom industry? All I want to do is listen to some hard music at work! :(

listen to anything off http://missionparty.com/mix - should be fast as f00k (100+ KB/sec easily doable...)

can't use fileshare progs at work...

net traffic from Canada to .uk seems to depend on the what hours you are trying it at. At peak periods it can be dog slow, but off peak times it goes nice and fast.

The problem is the overseas connections. They are horribly expensive, and tend to be quite overloaded.

It sucks, but I've learned to live with it
