Are you sure? Coz according to his website he's playing at the Custard Factory that night... might be worth checking with him that he knows where he's going!

mr burns
14-04-2005, 03:23 PM
thats because our night was originally at the custard factory, we then moved it to the sanctuary, ours is the only gig he is playing that night

Underground City
Newsletter
The festival series part II

Everyone from Cohesion, Skankadelic, Noizworks, Six-Six-Six, Sonic Vision, Lost & The Funk Station would just like to say a big thanks to everybody who attended underground city @ the custard factory on the 25th March. It was wicked to see 750 + partygoers turning out to show there support on our first night, and I think I speak for most when I say a what a top night with a great atmosphere was had by all!! Every room was f~*kin avin’ it!!

Our apologies go out to the owner of whoever’s shop it was next to the drum & bass rig that ended up with it’s glassware being smashed by the vibrations from the rig. You got to say though that’s some mental bass action.

Those who stayed till the end will probably have seen a flyer for the next underground city, due to a double booking at the venue we have moved the night to the legendary venue “The Sanctuary” also in Digbeth Birmingham, but don’t worry the line up with remain exactly the same with a few extra additions!! We will be able to put in more décor, light and rig, as we were limited at the custard factory due to restrictions with the décor. There has been some questions about the door staff at the sanctuary (the stigma is from about 5 years ago and it has defiantly changed) don’t worry we are assured that they are friendly and polite.

We have teamed up with some great promoters to bring 5 rooms of top quality music, by world respected djs and producers alike. Each room is being hosted by a separate promotion, bringing a whole variety of clubbers all together under one roof, again expect the unexpected we pride ourselves on the overall production of the evening.

So here is what we have in store!!!

my notourious miss gig period was a combination of bad luck, bad health, and an over complex rig that was temprimental and gave me hell, i took a custom built 90 kilo rig on the road but never got it properly stable. Now i adopted the "less is more aproach" and have had such minor problems its not worth mentioning.....as you can see by the picture my rig is well tight and the amount of compression i get on my kicks is amazing.

Ooops, I'm really sorry, I just read my posts again and I sound really rude, I didn't mean to be.

It's just that I'm driving up from London and I wanted to make sure it was going to be on, mainly cos it's my birthday and I didn't want to be disappointed - it's happened a couple of times to me recently!

I didn't mean to sound like such an arse - I owe you a pint!
