Nice!!!

How often is this KoolWaters night happening then?

I always thought KoolWaters was a hard house night with overpriced DJ's (Lashes/Savage/Jules...do i need to go on!!!)

I went to the one in Yeovil a few Fridays ago and it seemed a bit cheesy, & full of mouthy 18 year old piss-heads.

Hearing that Mark's gonna be playing there, i might have to indulge! Do u know who else is playing/what music style its gonna be? Let me know some details when u are next on here. Cheers m8!

P.S, Might see ya on the 26th (C.C) if u are going! Its gonna be unforgettable!

Alright,

Yeh marks playin there on the 1st of Nov I think. Apparently he's the new resident according to the flyer.

Kool waters happens every 1/2 months I think, not sure though. Dj's playing alongside mark on the 1st are Marc Vedo. He plays hard house/trance, nothing really that hard though. Also Marcus and Matt thorne, they play classic slices of commercial cheesy trance. To be honest I dont really like the place, the atmosphere aint that good. I'll still go though, might aswell.

Hey did u go to M-Zone and Ben eye @ the core the other night. I went wive 4 mates from Taunton, must say both were bangin as f@@k, as usual.

Anyway Ill probably see u next week @ the CC final dance, arrange a meet up wiv the other guys from here and the CC board or summin.

Mmm.... 18 years old pissheads and over priced DJ's. ??

Doesn't sound very good really does it?

Yeah, they've asked me to be resident and I said 'hey no probs' but I haven't played there yet. I think I'll play there and see. If we can get a good atmos going then gr8 but if it's that bad then I'm outta there like seeee yaaaaaaaaaa....

Hey,

Nah Ben Eye plays @ Vision, the night is in the process of changing venues I think so for now theres no confirmed date 4 an event.

I'd say mark will be the best D.J to play there in their history though, which is why ill be there

Mark, you'll have no worries about this place. Although i've only been there once, about 2 weeks ago, i absolutely loved it. The main room has a wicked atmosphere too it, as long as you get the crowd going, even room 2 is nice. It's along the lines of Claires in Torquay.

The worst bit i found was that the air con wasn't working properly, so it was really hot at the front, but i reckon they'll get that sorted

I really love places like Claires cause I play to a slightly different crowd. And the name of the game I reckon is spreading your message and getting new people on board no matter where they're dragged up (hehehe).

Wicked addition to ur site, this chat forum. spot on. Good to see that you are playing in Taunton, I always make sure I am at the Country Club when you play, and now its good to know that I do not have to travel to stomp to QUALITY TRANCE MUSIC. Its just a shame that you are playing for Koolwaters, a predominantly hard house and cheesy club music night when all you ever see headlining is Lisa Lashes and Judge Jules. I have been there a few times (living in Taunton) but only to find a @#%$ load of battieboys and piss heads and ONLY a few likeminded people who are their for the LOVE OF MUSIC. This place is soooo not a partying club, more of a mass of alcoholic messyness. Oh yeah, absoltley LOVED ur set at Vision last month, Tauntons other monthly club night. I go there every month cause its wicked and the vibe and people that go there are spot on, the sound is crazzzzy and the resident Dj's that play there in my opinion almost match up to those at the C.Club, totally the oppisite to Koolwaters. Would love to see you do a back2back set with Vision resident Ben Eye that would be awsome. Anyway gotta go, off to see M-zone tonight, the weekend starts here Then the last ever Country Club tomorrow night. It will be a shame to see that place go as I have had sooo many gr8 times up there as a raver.

Cheers Taunton Raver

Bloody ell! This is going to be a very interested place to play indeed. I'll let you all know what I think but if anyone has any other opinions to add, please let me know.

Wow, this board really is proving useful.... Thanks everyone!

Like you said Ben Eye is a Vision Resident. And there is a big change going on with the club. I know the Vision promoter quite well as he also lives in Taunton, and we get on well as mates. With out opening my mouth to much all I can say is that the club (Sloanes) recently has changed managment and is called Either. The night I think is relaunching in January 03 and can remember Ben mentioning about trying to push to get Mark E.G. to headline the night. He was gutted when he found out he had sign'd to Koolwaters so I guess that idea's gone sour, somthing about being exclusive to Marc Vedo or somthing. It would be a wicked night!!! Mark E.G + Ben Eye aarrrggghhh AWSOME.

Keep in touch chap

Hey man.. basically, I'm taking a long hard think about what's going on for me in the South West... CClub is gone, I'm not jumping into anything.... but yes, we did arrange an exclusive thing with Marc Vedo earlier this year - and then Visions came along (which I really enjoyed last time I played) and now I have to stick to my agreement with Marc. So I'm gonna do a few gigs for Marc as a resident, see if I like it, and if I don't - well you know what I'll do!!!! The key with this DJ thing is to follow your heart. Give things a chance and then make up your mind...
