Here's somthng i did while messing about in FL Studio. Its only a short clip, and i wouldn't call it hard trance, but i just want to know what you all think?

very very good. Excellent work on the riff and synth going together and shifting depending on the note. I like it.

It's more like new hardcore sounding.... but it's trancey influenced.

FL Studio? I'm impressed... the kick sounds a bit lab 4y... but you need that deeper kick to float a trancey riff as punchy ones seem to swap it.

This is an idea...what about changing the kick and have a more of a softer punch and an off beat bassline, abit like the older hard trance mark eg used to play in 1999 etc... i reckon it wud sound bangin then and slow it down a little. go on do it :P and i'll play it in my car !

Or keep it the same speed and add a K90 - Red snaper, kinda bassline and kick

Might try that mate! I'll try messin with some old 909 kicks and slot them in. As with the bass, my absynth has stopped working(****ing well annoying!), and i had loads of good presets on there for the sort of bass your on about. I'll try and sort it out and i'll post the track up when ive finished(though its getting a ball ache to work with as my c.p.u keeps topping out!).

Anyway yea i like that alot better, nice bass line. The melodie sounds like a track by M Zone called Beyond Reality, have u heard that ?

Good work mate, what about making a track like parker and clind - cosmos, something like that ?
