Yeah like this one....

love the fact that it is not 150 BPM but still it is pretty driving...

The track needs to be worked out though...

Production is good but sounds a bit muddy here and there maybe brighten up your midz a bit...

:rambo:

thanks lau, yeah my tracks tend to be abit muddy. need to learn the old eq'ing and master abit more. what you reckon put an eq on master and bring the mid up. or bring mid up on snares and hi's.

thanks for listening ;)

Well I always put the Izotope Ozone over the master channel.. thats an exiter and a compressor in one.. so you can brighten up your track ...

or you could put it on your individual channels as well...

But than again.. I know sh*t about producing music.. all I know is that it has to sound right... just listen and turn knobs.. :eh:

that always seems to work for me...

like the track. production is a bit rough though, might be worth going through each track with an eq to free up some space....

yup. i liked this but is it muddy. better to get rid of conflicting frequencies with eq than add to them with an exciter though.

thanks guys, yeah gotta get that eq'ing sorted. i just get abit confused on what to bring up or down abit. realy to what levels it all should be at.

cheers for the input all ;)

well, what i have been trying to do with eq lately is bring up the levels of each sound, one by one, and each time, check to see that i can still hear everything that's already turned up. as soon as i get one sound drowning out another, i start to play around with cutting frequencies until the sounds don't overlap. i try to avoid boosting, as it introduces phase distortion, and kills your headroom.

All in all I definitely quite like where it's going. This will be proper danceflorr techno indeed once the arrangement gets finished and the mixdown is worked out. I'd rock this one on the late night madness for sure.
