View Full Version : cheap nearfields anyone?

im after some nearfield monitors for my home studio and am on a tight budget, so im after a cheap pair, ive seen pairs for like £110 (jbl i think) and £140 for zero 7 monitors, among few others but are these models any good? does anyone on the boards use budget monitors? can anyone recomend any cheap models that do the job? (£150 budget) any help would be well appreciated.

If u really wanna compromise u go 4 the behringers.. I don't advice.. save yer money and wait as much as u have 2 till u can get at least some Alesis M1...

Behringers Truth monitors sound good for the price, but you can also save up some cash and some Mackies.

I was going to buy a pair for about the cash range your talking about, but I hung back and saved a bit more for Alesis M1 Mk2 Actives, and it was well worth it. They sound beautiful :D
