this reminds me of a c-tank album i used to have on overdrive. you can really see how things go round in cycles cant you. this reminds me of the time when hard techno turned into gabba in the industrial strength period.

I liked when it didn’t sound like Rolf Harris on his wobble board
Most Schranze sounds terribly weak and boring to me. I would much rather listen to some hardcore techno (esp the slower stompy stuff). Its 10 X Harder, 10 X more clever and 10 X more interesting. Theres more so much more to it
Feel a bit sorry for those who lap this stuff up.
Sorry

God I fcuking hate that sort of 'techno', even without ridiculous break downs like that, wtf. What is the point in that, zero substance just mindless bullsh*t for ket addicts.
It annoys me that this is classed as techno.

correct! that's the way it is working in germany. no intrests in musical history or general backgounds. no looking for well made stuff. just bom bom bom. that's enough for the crowd in some parts of germany. it's truly sad ****ed up!

If i heard this in a club then i would leave...
I think that's alright, it has a 'what the ****?' factor, then it uses a gun to shut it up, and it only lasts a few seconds (going by those samples of it), nothing wrong with adding a bit of humour to techno, as long as it's not overdone I reckon...

i normally really dislike shranz however the breakdown on that tune did make me laugh. And as much as i hate to say it it'd prob go down a treat in some clubs.

why wouldnt anyone say it to his face? im led to believe Sven is a nice bloke, is he liable to kick off or something? no offence but thats not very scary, anyone who physically starts something because someone doesnt like their music is more likely to be laughed at than feared over here im afraid ;)
ive gotta agree, this truely is woeful.... if something gets slagged off which really is that bad, then rightly so... come on seriously this isnt good, and i have no doubt i wont hear it in any clubs over here so thats ok with me... there is room for humour in techno of course, but like i said, humour....

I'd say the recent change in posturing is enough to show that people wouldn't say something to a person's face. It's got nothing to do with the worry of one getting their ass kicked. Rather, it has to do with just actually being accountable for one's words.

i dunno. when someone criticises something all they are really doing is expressing their opinion. so when an artists reacts to that, are they not just pandering to that persons opinion?

Naa, just found it kind of amusing really, and just interested to notice if anyone actually noticed this.. I mean maybe if you bought the record instead of making a judgement on a mp3 you'd have a right to be pissed off about getting a supposed "Duff" sven wittekind track...

I didn't get to hear the tune is question but I do enjoy his works. As someone who makes music you should expect criticism, but there is criticism and then there is just being dis-respectful. Where to draw the line would be up to that individual or the indviduals invloved.
