Anyone here have one? Any thoughts on how good it sounds and how stable is it when recording 8 stereo ins simultaneously which is pretty much what i need to do?

I cant find a PCI based card with more IO channels than it in the price range or well over the price range for that matter so I think i'm gonna go for it regardless. Would be nice to hear from other owners/users though.

Cheers
Steve

My mate bought his from the US for cheap and is very pleased with it, i dont think he's had cause to record using the 8ins, but i know hes done a lot of bussing with it and hasnt complained yet.

HTH ;)

Thanks Dodgy

Turnkey are flogging it for an unbelievable 200 euros at the moment.

Yeah I'd say hammering the 10 or 8 ins would be a bit extreme for that price but jesus i could be wrong . I'd say 6 max without issues but they do suggest filling all your PCI slots with them.. 4x1010

Nova just pointed out that the motu 828mk2 has the same amount of ins but its 820 yoyos on thomann. I know its firewire but does it matter when you could be getting 8 mikes & 32 Stereo Pairs into your computer for the same price with the Delta.

Where the logic? Someone want to point it out for me. :eh:

Whats the crack on having 2 delta1010lt soundcards to double up to 16 ins and outs? I have heard you can do this?

yes its 100% able to do that, there is a setting in the mixer control to link cards.
